Have you ever noticed that a part of living is not knowing? You may have an idea where something is going, but you never truly know where life is going to take you. If you think you know, seemingly, some cosmic joke sets you up to be disappointed. So, in light of this, I invite you to accept that you don’t know everything.
Knowing that you don’t know what you don’t know, allows you to open; to say yes to what life offers! Responding to life with an open heart is powerful. Instead of being stuck in expectations, standards, and rules, you operate from your own empowerment. And that’s just freedom!
If someone tells you how “wrong” your life is, you needn’t look far to see their projection of unhappiness. Every action is either a “cry for Love” or an “extension of Love.” When you see Truth, there is no need to take anyone’s actions or inactions personally. Ever.
When things get edgy in life, sink into: “I rest in Love.”
It serves as a reminder that you don’t have to have any of the answers. In awareness you can drop into the experience of Love. You deserve it.
Be aware of your “cries for love’’. These are your emotional impulses that give birth to jealousy, hatred, or even despair. Unconscious definitions of love impact every aspect of your life. Courageously look into where you push Love away vs where you extend Love. These definitions usually limit acceptance, freedom, and joy in the name of safety or control.
This exploration can be uncomfortable. Do you remember the power of the yin/yang symbol? We are all the light and the dark. Avoiding, pretending, and denying any darkness that exists in our lives leads more to disconnect and confusion. We can only make peace with the darkness of others by seeing and accepting our own. Unless we meet the dark inside of us, we stay stuck. Don’t make the dark wrong, bask in the lessons it offers along the way. Surrender to what is, see it in Truth and watch it transform.
Consistently ask, “Is my heart open?”
If yes, can you open it even more?
If no, breathe deep, focus on your heart, and invite it to open to receiving the Love that you are in Truth. It is a practice and one that can deeply enhance your experience of life. Resting in Love contributes to realizing the unity of all human beings, which in turn leads to compassion for ourselves and others.
All of life is a spiritual practice of keeping your heart open. You get to extend love even if everyone else around you forgets. Now that is freedom. I deeply Love and appreciate you and your journey. Thank you for your commitment to Love and accept yourself.
