Confusion. Uncertainty. Fear. Those energies are swirling amidst the collective consciousness of the world during this thing called COVID-19. 💞 😷💨
Yet, as Claudia Navone, author and teacher at The Divine University says,

What we must all remember is that we are powerful creators — all of us … We have the potential to be able to create the highest level of fear as well as the highest level of grace in our realities.

In order to be happy and to feel safe, it’s essential to connect with your core – the true essence of who you are. This is such an important truth, one I have written about before. So I dug through the archives to find this note and to share it with you today. It’s a timeless message that is much needed to help us keep our eye on the big picture of who YOU are:

Almost 20 years ago, I was at a spiritual healing retreat in Sedona, Arizona. 🌵 My teacher turned to me with a look of perplexed curiosity and asked me, “Who are you?” Immediately my whole being responded with a voiceless voice of knowing, “I AM LOVE!” That experience still resonates with me as if it happened minutes ago.🥰

The good news is, this isn’t just me. YOU ARE LOVE! It is the truth of who you are, and it is the truth of your existence whether you remember it, believe it, live it, or not.❤️😇

Knowing that I am love didn’t always stop my feelings from getting hurt. It didn’t make other people change or even make all my problems go away. What it did do was create a solid foundation for me to return to when I forgot and got caught up in pain. Sometimes, it would take me longer to return to love than others, but today I have made it into a practice, a way of life.

That has never been more powerful than now as we cope with the uncertainty being thrust upon us by an invisible culprit  – and its constant reminders all around us.💔🌌💖

Do you feel stress in your relationships as you cope with the ability to pay bills? Do you fear the unpredictability of illness this virus brings on your loved ones or yourself? Have you replaced your grandmother’s hugs 👨‍👧‍👦🤗 with palms pressed together against a windowpane of a nursing home? I get it. All the patterns you’ve assumed as normal seem to have changed. Even toilet paper 🧻 becomes the new gold standard as you grasp at things that help you feel a sense of security and control.

Or maybe your world hasn’t changed much, but the world outside of yours is just plain feeling weird.

Wherever you are, when you align with the love that you are, you align with your personal guidance and inspiration and let go of what you think you should be doing. Knowing that YOU ARE LOVE is self-knowledge.

The most powerful thing you can do amidst what seems like insanity is to focus on knowing you are love and grounding yourself in that knowing – moment to moment. ⏳💖

There’s no getting around it. Being human means that you and the world around you will change. Change is scary and confusing since it is new and you’ve never done it before, especially when it seems to come stampeding at you like a herd of buffalo. As well-known podcaster Tim Ferriss says, “People would rather be unhappy than uncertain.” The amazing thing though is, it’s usually what we experience as life’s unfortunate experiences that provide us with the greatest lessons. 🌎📚

The truth is every moment, every experience is an opportunity for you to surrender to your next lesson from life. So, ask yourself this:

Can I accept these 3 things?

  1. I am love.
  2. I don’t have all the answers.
  3. Clarity almost always begins with confusion. Accepting that I don’t know everything is a beautifully surrendered way to live. Trust the process. If I don’t accept confusion, I will likely suffer.

As you align more deeply with the Love that you are, you’ll be able to experience a more intimate and loving connection with spouses, lovers, family, and friends. When you feel intimate, you feel connected, barriers melt and hearts open – both yours and others around you.

The intention of one beautiful Soul says it all,

My heart yearns to love myself deeper!

But how? you ask. 💖🌊🌊

Take a few deep breaths as you focus on breathing in love into every cell of your body. With each exhale, connect with the intention of letting go of any and all non-beneficial energies and pain in your life. The more you focus on love, the more it expands, bringing you inner peace and satisfaction, no matter what’s going on around you.

Give yourself permission to accept your life as it is with gentleness, ease and gratitude. Connecting with gratitude and surrendering to the process and your experience are a good way to go.

  • Living a life of gentle surrender allows you to embrace life more fully.
  • It helps you stay open to the unknown and melts the pain that grasping at potential outcomes can bring,
  • It deepens your trust and awakens your sense of acceptance no matter what is going on around you. You find yourself with more patience, less judgment, and a more grounded presence in the moment.

No one more poignantly points this out than author Brene Brown in her video about joy and gratitude when she says: “It’s not joy that makes us grateful. It’s gratitude that makes us joyful.” In her 12 years of research, she found something that surprised her. Virtually everyone who described themselves as joyful had developed a conscious practice of gratitude. 🙏🙌

You deserve more love, not less. ❤️😇💕
